Dacia, the Romanian carmaker owned by Renault, has revealed three new models at the Geneva Motor Show. The company, known for its affordable and reliable vehicles, has showcased the all-new Dacia Duster, the new Dacia Spring, and the Dacia Sandrider. These models represent Dacia’s ambition to expand its market share and offer more choices to its customers.
The All-New Dacia Duster: a modern and versatile SUV
The all-new Dacia Duster is the second generation of Dacia’s best-selling model, which has sold over 7 million units worldwide since its launch in 2010. The new version has been completely redesigned, with a more dynamic and robust exterior, a more spacious and comfortable interior, and improved safety and technology features.
Some of the highlights of the all-new Duster are:
- A new front grille and LED headlights that give it a more assertive look
- A higher ground clearance and a wider track enhance its off-road capabilities
- A new 4x4 monitor that displays the vehicle’s angle, compass, and altitude
- A new multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and a 360-degree camera
- A new automatic dual-clutch transmission that offers smoother and faster gear changes
- A new hybrid engine that combines a 1.6-liter petrol engine with a 48-volt battery and an electric motor, reducing fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 10%
The all-new Dacia Duster will be available in Europe from June 2024, with a starting price of $16,500.
