The best cities for people who drive electric cars

The best cities for people who drive electric cars

The Savoo website has found the best places in Germany for electric cars. This took into account how many public charging stations there are and how much they cost compared to how much it costs to fill up a gas car. With an overall score of 6.27, Hamburg is the best city in Germany for electric drivers. Hamburg is the second largest city in Germany. The town in the north has 678 public charging stations, and each kWh costs 0.39 euros. Compared to the cost of filling up a gasoline car, it only costs €19.50 to charge the battery of a 50kWh electric vehicle. This is a savings of €53.10 per charge.

With an overall score of 6.04 and 533 public charging stations, Munich comes in third after Hamburg and the capital, Berlin, which has 936 public charging stations. With an average monthly salary of 3,162 euros in Hamburg, the cost of charging an electric car is less than one percent of that salary.

There are 161 public charging points in Düsseldorf, which is in third place. On average, each charge costs 0.38 euros. This comes to 19 euros per charge, which is slightly less than in Hamburg and Munich.

The German capital is also in the top five, ranking at number four on the list. Even though Berlin has the most charging stations (936), it is also one of the most expensive places to charge your car. A 50 kWh battery costs 21.50 euros ($0.43 per kWh) to charge fully.

Based on the Savoo analysis, Cologne is the worst city in Germany for e-drivers, with an overall score of 2.50. Cologne is one of the most expensive cities to charge an electric car, along with Frankfurt am Main. In both cities, you have to pay 0.44 euros per kWh. This comes out to 22 euros per charge, which is the most of any town. But this is still a lot less than how much it costs on average to fill up a gas tank, which is EUR 72.48.

The second and third worst cities are Frankfurt and Munster, respectively. Both towns have few public places where you can charge your car (128 and 74 respectively). There are 89 charging stations in Wiesbaden, a city of almost 300,000 people (278,950). This makes the city one of the five worst in the world.

In comparing European countries, the Netherlands comes out on top with a total score of 5.76. This country has more charging stations than any other (41,223). At 0.09 euros per kWh, the Netherlands is one of the least expensive places to buy electricity. Here, it costs about five euros (€4.65) to charge an electric car fully. This is much less than it costs to fill up a gasoline car. A full gas tank in a Dutch gasoline-powered vehicle costs about 92 euros every time.

Germany comes in second with 0.14 euros per kWh, and France comes in third with 0.17 euros per kWh. This means the price is slightly higher than in the Netherlands in both countries. Belarus is at the bottom of the list. On average, it costs 16.50 euros to charge an electric car here. The country has only 30 public charging stations, which is very low compared to other countries. Only Moldova has less. @via savoo.de .
