Porsche has unveiled the new 2025 Taycan models, the latest versions of its electric sports cars. The new Taycan models offer more power, more range, and more fun than the previous generation while also introducing new features and options.
What’s new in the 2025 Porsche Taycan models?
The new 2025 Porsche Taycan models include the Taycan, the Taycan 4S, the Taycan Turbo, and the Taycan Turbo S. All of them have received significant upgrades in performance, efficiency, and technology.
Some of the highlights of the new 2025 Porsche Taycan models are:
- More power: The new Taycan models have increased their power output by up to 10%, thanks to a new battery management system and improved thermal management. The Taycan Turbo S can now deliver up to 761 horsepower, while the Taycan Turbo can reach 680 horsepower. The Porsche Taycan 4S can produce 571 horsepower, and the Taycan can generate 476 horsepower.
- More range: The new Porsche Taycan models have also improved their range by up to 15%, thanks to a new battery chemistry and a more efficient drivetrain. The Taycan Turbo S can now travel up to 280 miles on a single charge, while the Taycan Turbo can go up to 300 miles. The Porsche Taycan 4S can cover up to 320 miles, and the Taycan can achieve up to 340 miles.
- More fun: The new Taycan models have also enhanced their driving dynamics and handling, thanks to a new rear-axle steering system and a new adaptive air suspension system. The rear-axle steering system allows the rear wheels to turn slightly in the same or opposite direction as the front wheels, depending on the speed and steering angle. This improves the agility and stability of the car, especially in tight corners and high-speed maneuvers. The adaptive air suspension system adjusts the ride height and damping of the car, depending on the driving mode and road conditions. This optimizes the comfort and performance of the car, as well as the aerodynamics and efficiency.
- More features: The new Taycan models have also added new features and options, such as a new head-up display, a new color option (Frozenberry Metallic), a new leather-free interior option (Race-Tex), and a new sound system (Burmester High-End Surround Sound System). The new head-up display projects key information on the windshield, such as speed, navigation, and driver assistance systems. The new color option is a light pink hue that contrasts with the car's sporty design. The new leather-free interior option is made of recycled materials and microfiber fabrics, which are more sustainable and breathable than leather. The new sound system is a premium audio system that delivers a rich, immersive sound experience.
