Peugeot has revealed its latest design for its top-of-the-range sedans, the Peugeot 508, which is available in sedan, SW, and Peugeot SPORT ENGINEERED versions. The 508 brings modernity and dynamism to the series with a new emblem and innovative front end.
The grille motif has been fully integrated into the bumper, and the three-clawed signature lighting system is a new feature, integrated into the Matrix LED headlights with their unique design fitted to all versions. The passenger compartment has been given an upmarket look and feel, emphasizing quality materials used in the new upholstery and a streamlined gearbox control for greater ergonomics.
The new Peugeot i-Cockpit boasts even more technology, thanks to the new Peugeot i-Connect Advanced infotainment system equipped with a 10-inch high-definition central screen, connected navigation, natural language voice recognition, wireless connectivity, and over-the-air updating.
The 508s are complemented by driving assistance systems that provide safety and calm, making them the best of Peugeot in terms of driving pleasure and comfort. The range of engines includes two rechargeable hybrid versions, a new 180 hp and a 225 hp version, a 130 hp petrol version, and a 130 hp diesel version. All engines are combined with the 8-speed EAT8 automatic gearbox. The Peugeot SPORT ENGINEERED plug-in hybrid version has 360bhp and 4-wheel drive, making it the standard-bearer of neo-performance.
