BMW has unveiled its latest electric two-wheeler, the BMW CE 02, which is set to hit the market in 2024. The CE 02 is a compact and agile urban scooter that combines the fun of riding a motorcycle with the convenience of an e-bike. It is designed for young and adventurous riders who want to explore the city in a new and exciting way.
The BMW CE 02 is not a typical scooter. It has a distinctive and futuristic look that stands out from the crowd. It features a flat seat, a low-slung battery, a round LED headlight, and a minimalist digital display. The body is made of lightweight aluminum and plastic and comes in two color options: black with orange accents or white with blue accents. The CE 02 also has customizable elements, such as stickers, bags, and holders, allowing riders to personalize their scooter according to their preferences and needs.
The BMW CE 02 is powered by an electric motor that delivers 11 kW (15 hp) of peak power and 90 Nm (66 lb-ft) of torque. It can reach a top speed of 90 km/h (56 mph) and has a range of 90 km (56 miles) on a single charge. The battery can be fully charged in about four hours using a standard household outlet or in about two and a half hours using a fast charger. The CE 02 also has three riding modes: Eco, Rain, and Road, that adjust the power delivery and traction control according to the road conditions.
