The new BMW M3 CS merges the specifications of a car built for track driving with the capabilities and everyday use known from the BMW M3. It does this by increasing engine power, tailoring the chassis layout, employing intelligent lightweight construction, using much carbon-reinforced plastic (CFRP) components, and featuring exclusive design elements.
The BMW M4 CSL shares its inline six-cylinder engine with the BMW M4 GTE race vehicle, which is why both share a similar design. The new BMW M3 CS's 3-liter rev-happy inline-six produces 550 hp and 650 Nm of torque, which is 40 hp more than the standard BMW M3 Competition. Therefore, when the accelerator is pressed, the engine responds instantly and sends all available power to the wheels.
A hundred kilometers per hour can be reached in 3.4 seconds during a sprint. The new special edition BMW M3 CS comes with a lot of unusual touches, including carbon fiber surfaces that can be seen and red highlights.
