BMW M3 CS can be used daily, but it's best for special occasions

BMW M3 CS sports car

The new BMW M3 CS merges the specifications of a car built for track driving with the capabilities and everyday use known from the BMW M3. It does this by increasing engine power, tailoring the chassis layout, employing intelligent lightweight construction, using much carbon-reinforced plastic (CFRP) components, and featuring exclusive design elements.

The BMW M4 CSL shares its inline six-cylinder engine with the BMW M4 GTE race vehicle, which is why both share a similar design. The new BMW M3 CS's 3-liter rev-happy inline-six produces 550 hp and 650 Nm of torque, which is 40 hp more than the standard BMW M3 Competition. Therefore, when the accelerator is pressed, the engine responds instantly and sends all available power to the wheels.

A hundred kilometers per hour can be reached in 3.4 seconds during a sprint. The intermediate acceleration from 80 to 120 km/h is accomplished in 2.6 seconds while in 4th gear, making the entire 0-200 km/h run take just 11.1. When the electronic limit of 302 km/h is achieved, that is the maximum speed possible.

The exhaust system features a titanium rear silencer, which helps to create a unique sound while keeping the engine's power under wraps. When using the Sport or Sport+ mode, the car's exhaust takes on a unique, motorsport-inspired tone, especially during gear changes and heavy acceleration.

M xDrive four-wheel drive and an active differential at the rear transmit the forces to the road. If you want the classic BMW M experience, you can switch to rear-wheel drive only rather than the standard four-wheel drive.

It is notably apparent during vigorous and challenging track driving that the engine and transmission are now more firmly coupled to the chassis. The chassis technology in the brand-new BMW M3 CS has also received many refinements in line with the engine. Using carbon-reinforced plastic for a large portion of the exterior and interior design also aids in minimizing overall mass and achieving ideal center-of-gravity placement.

The stunning Frozen Solid White paint job is standard on every brand-new BMW M3 CS. Signal Green, Brooklyn Gray, and Sapphire Black are available for the brand-new BMW M3 CS. The new special edition BMW M3 CS comes with a lot of unusual touches, including carbon fiber surfaces that can be seen and red highlights. Elements from the BMW M4 CSL, such as the kidney grill, carbon fiber spoilers, diffusers, and mirror housings, are instantly recognizable.

BMW Laserlight's stripes in the headlights also glow yellow instead of white when the doors are unlocked, and the low and high beams are activated, a nod to classic racecars.

Tires designed specifically for track use are mounted on forged M light-alloy wheels. Customers have the option of receiving their vehicles outfitted with more subdued tires.

When you're behind the wheel, you should prioritize having fun. M Carbon bucket seats are available for the driver and front seat passenger (standard equipment). Electrically adjustable and heated bucket seats with integrated headrests provide a one-of-a-kind fusion of racing thrills and long-distance coziness. Black and red leather chairs provide comfortable seating for rear passengers.

The all-new BMW M3 CS allows you to adjust its settings for whatever the day may hold, whether a leisurely drive through the countryside or a high-stakes track session.

BMW's newest flagship also has the company's cutting-edge iDrive infotainment system, complete with a BMW Curved Display. The driving experience is further elevated by the information display's graphical appearance and M content.

The brand-new BMW M3 CS goes into production in March. Only a select number of the new unique model will be made available. On a first-come, first-served basis, Norwegian distributors are already accepting orders. $192,100 is the starting price.
