The driver can activate the Trail Control by pressing a dashboard button or using voice commands. The system will then display a virtual guide on the windshield, showing the optimal path and speed. The driver can also adjust the level of autonomy and intervention by using a slider on the touchscreen.
The Trail Control is designed to enhance the off-road experience for Jeep enthusiasts, not to replace it. The system can help novice drivers learn from experts or allow experienced drivers to enjoy the scenery without worrying about the technical aspects. The system can also assist drivers in emergencies or when they are tired or distracted.
