Peugeot has revealed its latest design for its top-of-the-range sedans, the Peugeot 508, which is available in sedan, SW, and Peugeot SPORT ENGINEERED versions. The 508 brings modernity and dynamism to the series with a new emblem and innovative front end.
The grille motif has been fully integrated into the bumper, and the three-clawed signature lighting system is a new feature, integrated into the Matrix LED headlights with their unique design fitted to all versions. The passenger compartment has been given an upmarket look and feel, emphasizing quality materials used in the new upholstery and a streamlined gearbox control for greater ergonomics.
The new Peugeot i-Cockpit boasts even more technology, thanks to the new Peugeot i-Connect Advanced infotainment system equipped with a 10-inch high-definition central screen, connected navigation, natural language voice recognition, wireless connectivity, and over-the-air updating.
The 508s are complemented by driving assistance systems that provide safety and calm, making them the best of Peugeot in terms of driving pleasure and comfort. The range of engines includes two rechargeable hybrid versions, a new 180 hp and a 225 hp version, a 130 hp petrol version, and a 130 hp diesel version. All engines are combined with the 8-speed EAT8 automatic gearbox. The Peugeot SPORT ENGINEERED plug-in hybrid version has 360bhp and 4-wheel drive, making it the standard-bearer of neo-performance.
The new 508s are consistent with the values and concerns of customers looking for a vehicle with a sporty and dynamic silhouette, offering a real onboard experience without compromising on technology and connectivity. The front end is more modern, with the grille motif integrated into the bumper, and the headlamps are extremely slim, supporting a feline look sharper than ever before on a Peugeot.
The new aluminum wheels, named EPHERRA, with a diameter of 18 inches and a diamond pattern that combines design and efficiency, enhance the natural vibrancy of the new Peugeot 508 and Peugeot 508 SW. The front, side, and rear badges of the new Peugeot 508 have new typography and a new Basalt Grey color, making them more modern.
The new Peugeot 508s are redefining top-of-the-range silhouettes with their innovative front end, upmarket passenger compartment, advanced technology, driving assistance systems, and environmentally-friendly engines, providing customers with driving pleasure and comfort while being environmentally responsible.
