At an exclusive online event, Mitsubishi Motors unveiled the next-generation ASX (Active Sports X-over) small SUV. It replaces the first-generation ASX, which sold nearly 380,000 units in Europe, and will be sold in the same B-SUV class.
The Mitsubishi ASX small SUV is based on the CMF-B platform created by the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. The ASX was explicitly designed for the European market. Plug-in hybrids, full hybrids, and mild hybrids are just some of the available powertrains in the new Mitsubishi ASX.

The new ASX has Mitsubishi's "Dynamic Shield" front fascia, with the company's instantly identifiable three-diamond badge. Its forward-leaning stance, sculpted forms, and high ground clearance give it a sporty, dynamic, and firm appearance when viewed from the side. The "Mitsubishi" name is emblazoned over the trunk, with a black roof and either 17-inch or 18-inch wheels, all of which contribute to its unique appearance. The new Mitsubishi ASX comes in six different colors, but the standout is the Mitsubishi-exclusive "sunrise red."
The 2023 Mitsubishi ASX prioritizes comfort, roominess, and adaptability. It features a 332-liter trunk space, which can be expanded by 69 liters thanks to an innovative folding mechanism in the back seats.
The Mitsubishi ASX's cabin exudes class; it comes with either cloth upholstery or leather, climate control, heated seats, and a heated steering wheel (for those cold winter days). When the doors are open, there is plenty of headroom for getting in and out of the vehicle.
A 7-inch horizontal display and a 9.3-inch vertical display are on offer for the infotainment system, with the latter featuring wireless support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You'll find options like 3D navigation and the Multi-Sense driving program on higher-end trims.
It's possible to choose between a 4.2-, 7-, or 9.3-inch housing for your instrument. The tiniest screen is part of an analog instrument's housing; the intermediate screen is digital and may be customized; and a giant screen offers the complete digital experience, including on-screen navigation.
Next spring marks the market debut of the Mitsubishi ASX. Like all Mitsubishi vehicles sold in Europe, the 2023 Mitsubishi ASX features a standard 5-year manufacturer's guarantee.
