MG is expanding in Denmark

MG is expanding in Denmark

During March, MG will inaugurate its operations in Aalborg's newest and most spacious location, which is located at Hadsundvej 102. Customers have been able to experience MG's electric line-up, get assistance with online buying, and test drive the MG vehicles at the MG home base in Shoppen Aalborg, which opened on September 1, 2021. The only thing that has changed is the location; the knowledgeable sales team from Aalborg will continue to provide the same excellent service to North Jutland consumers; the only difference is that they will now do it in a different building.

MG models' sales have significantly increased since the MG Studio in Shoppen Aalborg opened its doors. The number of clients in North Jutland has also increased in proportion to the size of the model selection they can choose from. Electric vehicles that are reasonably priced, come with a generous amount of convenience features, and have a warranty that lasts for seven years are quite popular in Denmark. Because of this, MG Motor Denmark is increasing the size of its facilities in Aalborg and building a brand new MG Brand Store in a convenient central position on Hadsundvej 102, close to the major crossroads of Humlebakken. Customers not only benefit from the convenient location and the additional space, but they also have access to an MG service partner just across the street.

Following the launch of the legendary MG brand in the Shop, which was met with great success, it is time to expand into North Jutland. "More storage capacity is required to meet the high demand for cost-effective and environmentally friendly electric cars. Only in the past year have we been able to raise the number of MG cars in stock in Denmark by 27%, taking the total number of vehicles available there from 5,182 at the end of 2021 to 6,600 at the end of 2022 and the demand is still growing "According to Rasmus Aagaard, who serves as the COO at Nellemann Bilimport, the company that is responsible for the import of MG vehicles in Denmark, "As the stock of electrified MG vehicles increases, we also aim to expand the number of MG service partners," the company said in a statement. "The new MG brand store in Aalborg is immediately connected to our new service partner, Bgsted Auto." Rasmus Aagaard reaches this conclusion.

Online sales were the primary transaction method for MG Motor Denmark's initial introduction of the brand in June 2020; however, customers could take test drives and have their vehicles delivered from any of the four MG Brand Stores in Viby, Odense, Roskilde, and Valby. When it became clear that residents of Copenhagen were particularly interested in the electrified MG models available for immediate delivery, MG Motor expanded its operations and built a new site in the city. This brought the total number of MG Motor Denmark outlets to 5. The MG Studio, which put MG on the map in northern Jutland in the autumn of 2021 and was located in the shopping center known as Shoppen, will be replaced by a permanent MG Brand Store in the traditional sense, which will also provide access to a service workshop.

In June 2020, the venerable MG brand was brought back to life in Denmark by introducing the MG ZS EV electric car. Since then, things have gone strong; and here, just two and a half years later, the electric line-up from MG is up to a total of five models. Of these, the most recent shot in the arm, the MG4, got a nice second place in the selection of Car of the Year in Denmark 2023, just one point behind the winner, the Volkswagen ID Buzz. In 2022, 1,591 MG cars were sold in Denmark; however, these sales were split among four different models because deliveries of the MG4 didn't begin until 2023. The Danes have shown great enthusiasm for the new MG electric car.
