The new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon pickup truck with legendary 4x4 off-road capability

Jeep Gladiator Rubicon pickup truck

A true revolution in the world of pickup trucks, to face any challenges head-on — literally! This is the new Jeep Gladiator, the pickup with the most incredible off-road capacity that has just arrived. The Jeep Gladiator occupies a place of exclusivity: the position of the most authentic Jeep, alongside the iconic Wrangler, as together they represent precisely what the brand believes.

The Jeep Gladiator Rubicon is the world's only pickup that combines proper Jeep design, legendary 4x4 off-road capability, and the ability to explore the ultimate outdoor freedom. It is a great satisfaction to be able to extend to the Brazilian consumer the offer of an active, versatile, functional pickup equipped with all the robustness demanded by the category. These characteristics translate into the Jeep soul in its essence.

Available in the Rubicon configuration, which is the maximum expression of the legacy and DNA of the Jeep brand, the Jeep Gladiator pickup comes to be an inexhaustible source of adventures and unusual sensations for those who have an exploring spirit and yearn for a pickup capable of leading them down an untrodden path.

Jeep offers the most capable pickup ever produced by the brand. A pickup that carries all the DNA and authenticity of Jeep and arrives to complete a range of vehicles already puts us in a prominent position in the Brazilian market. The new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon is a pickup truck that will bring technologies to the segment that have never been seen before.

Inspired by the model launched 60 years ago, the new Jeep Gladiator pickup has a visual reinterpretation of the brand's authentic design, carefully crafted to balance modernity and the preservation of specific characteristics of the Jeep identity.

A good example is the legendary seven-slot grille, present in the broader version to increase airflow and help the engine, an essential aspect with the increase in towing capacity. The upper part of the grille is gently sloped to improve aerodynamics.

The Gladiator's LED headlamps and fog lights provide crisp white light and enrich the Gladiator's styling, while daytime running lights (DRL) form a halo around the headlights.

The traditional square lanterns flank the tailgate at the back, which has an electric lock and three opening positions. And speaking of the rear, it is worth mentioning that the design of the bucket took into account the visual aspect and the application of intelligent and functional solutions.

The overall result is an imposing design that captures the eye and immediately expresses the model's aptitude for heavy off-roading and, simultaneously, for transporting an excellent cargo volume. And all this is combined with the Open-Air Experience, a concept that allows for a deeper connection with the external environment as no other vehicle can.

The Jeep Rubicon surname and the trail-rated badge automatically give the new Jeep Gladiator truck the credentials of a vehicle with extreme off-road potential. And that Rubicon surname is the ultimate representation of the legacy and DNA of the Jeep brand. It has existed since the Jeep Wrangler TJ was launched in 1997 in honor of the "Rubicon Trail." Rubicon is an off-road trail located in California (USA), approximately 35 km long. Due to the rocky conditions and diverse climate, it is considered one of the world's most technical off-road driving tracks and is used for testing trail-rated vehicles.

And who guarantees the pickup all this ability to overcome the most challenging obstacles is not just a piece of equipment but a set of components and technologies that take the off-road concept to a new level?

The 4x4 drive system with a reduced 4:1 ratio and 77:1 crawl ratio allows the truck to deliver maximum power at low speeds for greater control and increase the amount of torque available to the wheels. The Jeep Gladiator Rubicon offers two ways to maximize steering: locking the rear axle only or the rear and front axles together. In this condition, it delivers maximum power to the wheels to help in any adventure, in any off-road situation, always with maximum traction. In addition, the rear axle can be locked in 4HI mode for use at high speeds in low-friction terrain, especially in dunes.

When activated, a novelty that arrived in the 2022 version of the Jeep Wrangler automatically adjusts the Jeep Gladiator pickup to the conditions of the terrain. It works on the central pickup systems, such as accelerator, Select-Speed control, traction control, and gear shifts, to ensure optimal terrain performance.

Unique in the segment, the TrailCam Off-Road Front Camera offers grid lines that show the path ahead of the tires, allowing the rider to face any obstacle head-on. The Off-road Camera, like the Off-road+ System, was recently introduced in the Jeep Wrangler.

Trail-rated capability is standard on the new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. A vehicle must pass a series of tests in the most challenging terrain, prove its ability to withstand adverse conditions, and deliver incredible off-road capability to earn the trail-rated badge.

The front and rear tow hooks, an everyday off-road necessity, are ideal for assisting smaller-capacity vehicles off-road under challenging situations. Real-time access to off-road performance data optimizes the experience during adventures, such as pitch and tilt, altitude, coordinates, and transmission temperature. High-strength steel plates help protect essential components such as the crankcase, transmission, fuel tank, and transfer case from damage that can be caused during the adventure.

The only pickup that offers a "convertible" experience! That's what the new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon delivers. The doors and roof are removable, while the windshield, made with an aluminum frame, can be folded down – just fold the handles and hook them to the hood hooks. All this to ensure total immersion and connection with nature on adventures!

The interior of the new Jeep Gladiator Pickup is where comfort, convenience, entertainment, and safety are guaranteed by a desirable package of equipment, which makes the onboard experience even more exclusive and unique.

Technology is present in all aspects. In terms of comfort, it is evident through items such as voice assistant (hands-free), two-zone automatic digital air conditioning, face key with remote start, reverse camera, GPS navigation, and tire pressure monitoring.

The Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Pickup is authentic, beautiful, well equipped, and extremely strong and capable, but that's not all! We must not forget that one of its high points is precisely its versatility, provided by its significant load and towing capacity. @via Jeep.

The Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Pickup comprises 100% Jeep and 100% Pickup! It arrives in its Rubicon version, with maximum off-road capability and ready to provide extreme adventures and incredible stories!
