The MINI Concept Aceman electric crossover gives a first-hand look at MINI's future design language. The MINI 3-door and MINI Countryman will meet in this concept electric car, which will go on sale in 2024. The MINI Concept Aceman electric car has four doors, enough room inside for five people, and a large trunk. At 4.05 meters long, the concept car is wide at 1.99 meters and tall at 1.59 meters. In keeping with tradition, the concept car features a functional design ready for a new era in which MINI will reinvent itself and offer more advanced comfort and versatility than ever before.
Digitization in the automobile has enabled it to achieve a minimalist concept while providing an exceptional MINI experience. As Mini's 1959 designer intended, the interior has been pared down to the bare essentials. At the time, Alec Issigonis designed an interior with only a central and circular instrument display and a pair of rocker switches needed to create a unique driving experience apart from the seats, the steering wheel, and the gear lever.
The concept car's cabin is designed similarly, with a unique color palette and materials. Chrome and leather are both lacking in fine details. The MINI concept electric car, with its digital solutions and OLED display, enters the future with a respectful adherence to tradition.
In Cologne, Germany, on August 24-28, Gamescon 2022, the world's largest gaming event, the MINI Concept Aceman electric car, will be unveiled to the public for the first time.
More than 20 years have passed since the British icon was relaunched as part of the BMW Group. The MINI brand will only produce fully-electric vehicles in the future. After the year 2025, there will be no new cars with internal combustion engines. By 2027, at least half of MINI's global sales will be accounted for by fully electric models, and by 2030, MINI will be a completely electric car brand.
