The Alfa Romeo Tonale was one of the winners of the prestigious "autonis" design competition. Over 14,000 "auto motor und sport" readers voted for the latest brand model as "Best Design Innovation 2022" in the compact SUV class. With a market share of 30.2%, Tonale, the first electric Alfa Romeo car, easily outsold its rivals.

The "autonis" design prize is a joyful and satisfying tradition for Alfa Romeo, and this year marks the 22nd edition. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta, MiTo, Giulia, and Stelvio have all won the "Best Design Innovation" award from the readers of "auto motor und sport" in the past. The German automobile magazine "autonis" professional readers voted on 92 new vehicles across 11 categories for the 2022 issue.
